Event Schedule
Sunday, August 17

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM: Artist Check-in & Surface Stamping. Painting may begin once surfaces are stamped.

7:00 PM – 9:00 PM: “Meet the Artists” Reception
Monday, August 18: VIC Day

All Day: “Paint the VIC” at the Paul Smith’s College VIC
Tuesday, August 19: Club Day

All Day: “Catch of the Day” at the Saranac Lake Fish & Game Club
Wednesday, August 20: Paint the Town

Daytime: “Paint the Town” in the historic Village of Saranac Lake. Artists are requested to submit one small, unframed painting for the Silent Auction.

5:00 PM – 7:30 PM: 3rd Thursday ArtWalk on Main Street. Join the festive atmosphere with live music and outdoor painting.
Thursday, August 21: Jurying & Preview Party

9:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Deadline to submit 3 Framed Paintings for jurying (Town Hall Auditorium).

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Official Jurying (Closed to the public).

All Day: “Paint the Adirondacks” Day. Maps of suggested locations provided.

5:30 PM: Additional framed work may be added to the display walls.

6:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Preview Party. Tickets are $25/person (Free for artists + 1 guest).

7:30 PM: Awards Ceremony.
Friday, August 22: Grand Finale & Sale

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Quick Draw Competition (Downtown).

11:15 AM: Quick Draw paintings due at Town Hall.

10:00 AM – 5:00 PM: Show & Sale (Free admission to the public).

Midday: Lunch provided for participating artists.
